Hi! I'm back, it's been a while

We've been on the road again, in Sandusky, Ohio helping build a church.  What a blessed experience that was. Started with an empty slab and ended with a building framed and partially trussed. It was amazing how everyone worked so hard and so well together.

On Thursday we took a girls day off and went sightseeing. We found this old time soda fountain in the little town of Vermillian. We sat on those stools and stuffed ourselves with sundaes. Apparently we chose one of the most unusual days of the year to visit there. On the way into town we noticed spots on the white houses, found a place to pull off the road and inspect a building, it was covered with bugs and the ground looked like a carpet of bugs, disgusting. Everywhere you looked the buildings and cars were covered with those bugs. I stopped a man at a gas station, rolled the window down a few inches for fear of filling the truck with bugs, and ask the man what the deal was with the bugs.  They are called Canadian Soldiers, muffleheads, or may flies. They come off the lake every year at this time and are around for a few days. They don't do any harm and don't bite but boy are they disgusting.  It was such a strange thing to see, we spent the whole afternoon laughing at the sight. I'm posting pics but they may be way out of order, you'll be able to figure out what's what.

This is the soda fountain. The lovely ladies are: Cindy Willis, Beverly Johnson, me, Debbie Rogers (who is one of the full time bbfi builder's wife) and Gale Phillips.
