Sept 11

The first thing we think about this morning is the tragedy of 2001.  We never know what a day may bring so enjoy this day but plan for the future.  (Man that is heavy)  Now on to more fun things.

It's Thursday and we're just hanging around the house today.  We've been to Louisville a few times and gone to most of the major tourist attractions before so we're resting up for our late nights of gospel singing, starts tonight for us, and next week will be busy, we'll be at Niagra Falls then.

We got here Monday, Tuesday we slept in then went to a mall here that has a Coldwater Creek, I had to pick up a top that I had held for me there.  Of course we did a bit more shopping. Yesterday we slept in again, I know you're feeling bad for us, we drove about 60 miles to an outlet mall we'd heard about.  Rick bought a few summer things that were on sale.  We came home from there to fix some supper cause Gary and Beverly were expected in.  They finally got their motorhome repairs and were able to meet up with us.   We had a nice evening, dinner outside, the weather has been perfect the last couple days.  We stayed outside to watch America's Got Tallent then came in and cleaned up the dishes and visited for a while.

Right now my "handy man" is outside repairing an awning.  Sometime this morning he'll help Gary put a sunscreen on one of his windows.  You have to drill holes in the motorhome and Rick had installed ours so Gary had him do theirs too.  Gary was a bit nervous about drilling holes in his motorhome himself.

  1. Poor Rick. Always the responsible one. Sounds like you're living the good life, but rest up - Hurricane Bev&Pam will be blowing into Buffalo before you know it! Can't wait to see you. Hope we didn't buy the same shirt from Coldwater Creek.

  2. Great pics! You just go ahead and spend away... but just remember who will be taking care of you when you are old and senile! ha ha! It has rained here all day today and the day before. They actually canceled football practice... can you beleive it? It is supposed to rain for the next few days... guess I need to go out and buy some rain gear for Logan's game on Saturday... since you won't be there to help me out : ) Enjoy your concerts!
