Yesterday we went up to Freeport, Maine to shop at the L.L. Bean store. We spent a couple hours there then began our search for lighthouses. Hopefully I can send some pictures of them.
We saw the Bug Lighthouse and Portland Headlight. Today we drove down the coast line and found a couple small lighthouses and saw some beautiful homes. There no telling what the value of those homes were. Some were out on peninsulas, such as the Bush's home in Kennebunkport. Both days have been beautiful, about 60 degrees and bright and sunny.

This is Wood Island Light, we had to walk quite a ways on a dirt trail to find this lighthouse but it was a scenic walk and the view was well worth the effort.
The internet is messing up on me and I've lost some pics I was loading to send and now I'm tired and frustrated so I'm sending this off incomplete (anyway I hope I'm sending this out.)

What great pics! Some of the pics from your trip you should enlarge and frame to hang on your walls! I am serious, they are gorgeous! By the way... tell Rick good job on the play list of songs! Thanks for the post card for the kids. Logan kind of rolled his eyes when I read him the Santa Claus part... but Macey went right along with it!

Not so much for the vacation, but I miss you!Glad the weather improved and you're able to enjoy all that beautiful scenery. Sorry the internet has been so stinky. I'm sure the other photos were great.
