Let me introduce you to Warren Aidan Kirkpatrick,
born Sunday, April 12, 2009 at 9:59 p.m.
He weighed 8 lbs 6 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long.

What a beautiful family.
Wyatt is accepting him better than we expected. He is having a bit of trouble being gentle. He just wants to squeeze baby brother when he loves on him. At first he didn't like the idea of having to share momma but today seems to be handling it much better. They will be great buds someday.When he first saw Warren I ask him "who is that" he said "it's me". Cassie was patting the baby today and Wyatt scolded her, telling her not to hit the baby. She will have her hands full for a while, Wyatt is very active, but she'll adjust and so will he. We are so thankful she and the baby and doing great.
Man, you could run a curling iron through that baby's hair! Since Warren looks like a native American, maybe his Indian name can be "Furry Like Baby Bison." He is just beautiful and I'm glad Wyatt is adjusting to the new addition to the family. Wonder when Cassie will catch him carrying his little bro through the house? I'd like to rub those sweet baby toes. I love baby feet. Well, I pretty much love babies. Tell the kids congratulations. Cassie must have used a great recipe when she cooked up this baby - he came out of the oven just perfect! :)

ReplyDeleteAugh, what a cutie! I love all of his hair. Do you think it will stay dark, or get light like Wyatt's? Glad Wyatt is adjusting well to the new guy. Congrats to Russell and Cassie! (and you and Rick on a new grandbaby)
