We took a trip to Table Rock Lake where we stayed in a fairly upscale RV Resort. It was a beautiful location overlooking part of a 9 whole golf course and a view of a bit of the lake. Our main purpose for coming up here was to spend Saturday with Richard and DeNae and kids, check out the cabin they'd purchased, which needs some renovation, so you see I'm not the only one who calls Riccccckkkkkkk, the kids call Daaaaaaad too. We formulated a few ideas for their place and spent some very enjoyable time watching the kids play on their water toys. The water was still pretty chilly but they didn't care. Oh, and we not only enjoyed the kids having fun, we also enjoyed watching our son and daughter-in-law parenting and taking the responsibility for them, the boat, the trailer, the cabin, the discipline, the bathing, the packing, the loading, the refereeing, oh my, the list goes on and we got to sit back and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy, and pass out hugs, kisses and smiles. This grandparenting thing is pretty grand.
Caitin and Madi kneeboarding
Madi is trying to assist Blake on his first kneeboard attempt. After being dunked in the lake a couple times he was totally done with that.
What a cutie, he was very content watching his sisters while waiting for the chance to ride
Big Mable
This is Big Mable, which they call big navel because that's what Caitin used to call it.
I have to admit it did look like fun.
Madi on her wake board. This girl is nothing but muscle. It's unbelievable how strong she is. She was like the energizing bunny, would take a licking and keep on kicking.
Caitin on the kneeboard. She hasn't attempted to wake board yet, still a bit timid about that but once she does and masters it, she'll want to run at full speed and maximum wake.
Hope you've enjoyed your weekend as much as we have.

Steve and I just got back from a bike ride a few minutes ago - it's a great night to be out on a bike. Love the photos of the grands. Madi is so skinny that when she turns sideways on that wakeboard, you can barely see her. Love that she's fearless. "Big navel" looks so fun. Bet those kids had a great time.
