More summer fun

Wow, what a good time we had last week. My pictures are out of chronological order and I don't want to risk cutting and pasting to get them in order cause sometimes I lose one and have to start again and it's 12:30 a.m. and I couldn't sleep so I'm doing this and certainly don't need the frustration of losing pics I've already selected and having to start again. Whew, that was a mouth full. Any way, let me share a few pictures and tell you a bit about our week.

This first picture was actually taken last Thursday evening, at the Kiddie Park in Bartlesville. If you have young children you need to take them there. It is for little kids only, Logan was too big to ride a couple of the rides. Admission is free, you just buy tickets for the rides, we bought 80 tickets for $20.00 and the kids rode all night with a few tickets left over. Each ride only takes 1 or 2 tickets.
This was taken at the end of our evening.

The kids rode the roller coaster first and Wyatt had a blast. Macey, the thrill seeker of this group was gracious and made the most of the ride. Logan was a good sport but you can see how exciting it is to him. However, the first time we took him to this park, probably a few months older than Wyatt is, he wouldn't ride this coaster, it was tooo scary. My has he grown.
Macey and Logan rode this spinny thing together first so they could make it spin and boy did they get it to spinning but I told them to take it easy with Wyatt in there with them. He thinks he's big stuff riding with them.
Last weekend we all gathered at Richard and DeNae's and I was able to get the kids all together just before we left to come home. I'm showing you two shots of the same pic because one child or another was constantly moving.
On the front row is Blake, Warren, Logan, Macey and Luke.
Second row is Wyatt, Madi and Caitin.
Boy are we blessed with some precious grandchildren.

Russell is being a good uncle and getting a bit of exercise throwing the kids in the pool. That's Madi about to be hoisted in the air.
Robert and Luke enjoying the shade while Russell's out there entertaining the kids.
Well, it was time for 3 1/2 month old Warren to get his second hair cut. Bobbie trimmed it a bit shorter than the last one so maybe it won't get into his eyes as quickly this time. She said she's cut babies hair before but never had to thin it. Warren's hair is so thick on top she did thin it out a bit to help it lay better.
Now, how's that for a well groomed baby.
Cassie hadn't had 3 month pics made of Warren so Rick took some for her and of course we had to take some of Wyatt too.
This is his "happy" face.
This is his "mad" face.
And the puckered lips are his "dancing" face.
The pictures of Wyatt above were posed and produced by him, no child was made angry or thrown onto a disco floor in the process of this photo shoot.

Here they are together, this pose didn't last long. Two wiggly little boys.
And just how cute is this?
Russell, Cassie and the boys were at our house for about a week, we all got together at Richard and DeNae's for a couple days, the kids played hard and had a blast, the adults tormented each other, any way my three sons did, we ate, slept, watched happy children play and this grandmother enjoyed every bit of it.

But, life is life, there's good and bad, while we were at DeNae's she learned that her stepfather is seriously ill and was hospitalized this evening, 8/7/09, so would you say a prayer for Larry. He is a wonderful man and has been a real "daddy" to her.

Now, I'm gonna go see if I can get some sleep, it's now 1:02 a.m.

Love the pictures of Wyatt with his "mad" and "dance" face. Has he been watching Mick Jagger?
