I just accidentally found out that if you click on a blog picture it will blow up to fill the whole screen, you all probably already know that but I thought I'd share it anyway, just in case. That makes me feel better about some of the pics I'm sending out cause that little bitty picture just doesn't do it when looking at these landscape scenes.
It's Saturday morning and we slept in and are being a bit lazy. I think we're going to the grocery store and to the North Pole in a while. The North Pole is actually a community close to where we are. They have some shops and I think it's maybe an amusement park on a small scale. Of course the theme is Christmas and Santa Claus. I hope to get some postcards and mail them to the little ones post marked the North Pole. I was just looking at some pictures of them and nearly began to cry. We're having fun but seeing their precious faces made me miss them and need a hug.
We took a scenic train ride yesterday afternoon, it was cloudy and misting rain but we enjoyed it. We needed Blake with us. He loves trains, this wasn't Thomas but he would have enjoyed the ride and we would have enjoyed him. So these pictures are dedicated to Blake.

Above is a view of a pond from the train, below is another view from the train window towards the front of the train, hopefully he can see it.

Of course that was a picture of the engine of the Adirondack Scenic Train ride, following is a pic of the engineer, he doesn't look quite like you'd imagine a train engineer would look. He looks more like he belongs on one of the imaginary train robberies you see in Branson.

Well, I'm outa here gonna see if we can find the North Pole. Hope you all have a great weekend. Win your football game Logan. Hi to all the little ones.
love to all

So good......
ReplyDeleteHey, girl. Just got back from dad's day at OSU. Ashlee and I went with Steve and saw Tyler. As pastor says, "He looked good in my eyes." Missing the kids must be hard. Go to the North Pole and have a good time. Sure am enjoying your photos. The train looked so fun. Almost time for those awesome Sooners to come on, so I'll catch you later. Miss ya!
ReplyDeleteBlake, of course, loves the trains. Thanks for sending those pictures for him to see!
