Aces High, Connecticut

These pictures were taken of our campground in Connecticut, called Aces High.  It is a beautiful location, with the fall foliage in the background all around the grounds and the pretty little pond reflecting the trees.  The parking area has a few trees but it's better that there aren't many in that area, it is sometimes difficult to pull into a spot with a lot of trees. You have to watch that you have clearance for the slides to come out and don't hit a tree or overhanging limbs on the way in or out of the space.  We will only be here for one night but I wish we could spend a few days here. It is relaxing and a good place to fish a bit and ride bikes. But, we will push on tomorrow to Jersey City, NJ.  It is very near New York City, in fact the place we are to park is at an RV park and marina. We are supposed to be able to see Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty from our motorhomes.  I'm just concerned about driving through the city to the RV park, but we'll see how it goes. I'll let you know tomorrow if we survive.

Can you see the Cat Tails in the picture?
Ask my dad what he learned about Cat Tails this summer.

Our motorhomes are just to the right of this picture, the Johnson's is the Black and cream colored and ours is the one just behind it, shades of brown and tan. That's Gary on the bank, fishing.  It is so pretty here.

Wyatt should like this picture of his papaw. The only thing Wyatt likes more than fishing is tractors. Every time I talk to him on the phone he says "I wanna ride tractor".

Guess who?

Well it's about bed time so I'll stop for tonight. Pray for us as we travel tomorrow, we'll be going down I95 through New York.

I'm so glad I was able to put a few more pictures on here

Love you,
mk
